Proposition S passed in the City of St. Louis, but the small tax increase proposition to benefit seniors failed to win a majority in St. Louis County and St. Charles County.

I would expect to see this back on the ballot in the counties in a couple years as it has been shown to be very effective in cost-effectively delivering meaningful services in nearly half of Missouri's counties including for 10 years in the greater Kansas City area.

Thanks to all who supported and voted for this measure.  Seniors in the City of St. Louis will begin to see increased benefits from existing organizations starting in 2018.
